Kick the Spy Pet

kickthespypet is a service that tries to find the discord scraper spy.pet's bot accounts in your server. we do this via an API vulnerability that got discovered 3 days ago, where we got all of their accounts in all servers.

kickthespypet may not be able to find new spy.pet accounts since the vulnerability has been patched, but it can still find a lot of them. we are also working on adding more bots as they come along with new detection methods.

the code of the frontend was mostly stolen from cobalt

what is spy.pet

spy.pet is a discord scraping service that has bots joining public discord servers and listening for public events such as messages, bans and voice chat joins and leaves and then selling them for personal or enterprise usage without your permission.

how to get a discord server id

to get a discord server id you have to enable developer mode in your discord settings (this can be found at App Settings > Advanced, and then "Developer Mode"). then, click a server on your server list and at the bottom there should be a "copy server id" button.

discord bot

we have a discord bot which you can invite here either as a user application (you can use it in any server), or in a guild. the bot currently only serves the purpose of checking if a known spy.pet bot is in the server you execute a command in. but we plan on adding more functionality later. to use it, simply run /check-guild.

integrating into other services (dev)

if you want to have your bot, or some other service rely on this website, there are 2 enpdoints you should really need:
• /getBot?id={SERVER_ID} (gets a bot given a server ID) (not recommended)
• /ids (returns all known bots)
